Can you explain the application and admissions process?
Please refer to the Application Requirements and Admissions Process. |

Do I need to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT)?
Yes. We do require the GMAT for the Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA. Academic transcripts and GMAT scores help us determine your analytical skills. Prospective participants would benefit from doing preparatory work for some of the courses, particularly mathematically based classes. The INSEAD EMBA identification code to be given to the GMAT Test Centre is 7198. |

Is there any alternative test to the GMAT?
We value the GMAT examination. If you submit a GMAT score report to us, you will be given priority in the reviewing and admission process. This is because your GMAT score provides us information about your analytical skills, mathematic knowledge and logical reasoning, all of which are critical for successful completion of our EMBA programme.
Applicants via Tsinghua can choose to take the Tsinghua University English written test that is developed for its international graduate students, based on GMAT. If an applicant chooses to take the Tsinghua Test, Tsinghua requires that the applicant needs to have on-campus interview at Tsinghua University in Beijing. The Test is specific to Tsinghua, not standardised. |

Do I need to take the TOEFL?
If you have at least one degree from an institution of which the courses are taught in English, or have lived for an extensive period in an English-speaking country, or have more than one year working experience in an English speaking environment, you do not need to take the TOEFL exam. Otherwise, a TOEFL score is required for applicants coming from non-English speaking countries. |
